Award-winning photographer, Chris Hellier, takes a trip along the southern coast of France, visiting some of the most colourful ports of Provence and the Côte d'Azur, from Nice, near the Italian border, to the Mediterranean metropolis of Marseille. While many fishing ports have given way to pleasure marinas and luxury yachts, a few traditional ports still remain and even the larger ports still retain a section reserved for the traditional painted fishing boats, known as 'les pointus', typical of the French Mediterranean coast.
